On the most beautiful canal in Utrecht, you will find Oudaen, a city castle with a story. In the monumental building from the 13th century, there is a grand café, restaurant, brewery, and various halls. You are most welcome in our classic city castle with a contemporary touch!
As we make our way up from the cellar, via the monumental marble staircase to the first floor, we arrive at the halls that are used for weddings. There are a total of four, each with its own character but all in a style you would expect from a monumental castle. There is also a restaurant on the first floor, which makes Stadskasteel Oudaen a very diverse location.
From the wedding ceremony to the dinner and the wedding party: you can have it all take place at our venue if you want. Also in terms of culinary offerings, you will not miss anything on your big day at Stadskasteel Oudaen. Whether it’s snacks at the wedding party or an extensive dinner, we will take care of everything down to the last detail. The snacks and dishes are of excellent quality and are prepared with fresh, local products.

Wij zijn ontzettend blij met onze keuze om onze bruiloft te vieren bij Stadskasteel Oudaen. Alles was bespreekbaar en de begeleiding was top. De bierproeverij met zelfgebrouwen biertjes en heerlijke speciale snacks maakte het extra speciaal. Perfecte ruimte voor een knallend feest met 100 personen.
Oudaen is van zichzelf al een prachtige locatie. Aankomen met een bootje is ook echt fantastisch (al juichen wel alle mensen rondom de gracht). Service is goed geregeld, eten was perfecte porties (wel kleiner dan het proefdiner). Het enige kritiekpunt is dat soms de photobooth vast liep. Daarentegen zijn de foto’s wel echt genieten.
We hebben een geweldige bruiloft gehad bij Oudaen. De voorbereiding ging makkelijk, vragen werden snel beantwoord en er wordt goed meegedacht. De trouwzaal was heerlijk intiem, we hebben heerlijk op het terras aan de werf gegeten, en ook de feestzaal voor meer gasten was perfect (alleen een beetje warm in de zomer). Al het personeel was super aardig en op de dag zelf verliep alles als vanzelf. Heerlijk!
Fantastische lunch gehad in Stadskasteel Oudaen. Alles was tot in de puntjes geregeld en de historische zaal was ontzettend sfeervol.
