Couwenhovezaal

At the windows in the atmospheric Couwenhovezaal, it becomes clear that the city castle was once one of Utrecht's defense works: you can clearly see how thick the castle walls are. Cannonballs are embedded in the walls, as a reminder of the bombardments by the Spaniards in 1576. Thanks to the high ceiling and recent renovation, the room of 7 x 10 meters has a fresh look. This makes it suitable for a meeting, drinks, dinner, or party.

In addition, the room can be combined with the Zoudenbalchzaal and Linteloo, allowing larger groups to enjoy drinks or a party evening.
