About
Originally, at this location was the great hall of the Bartolotti family. The hall was adorned with tapestries and paintings all around. The room was wider back then, as the passage to the back of the house did not exist yet. This room was also redecorated in the late 19th century, presumably commissioned by Holzman. It features a ceiling with a dome painted in perspective with birds and flowers. Latin texts are displayed in cartouches, which also adorn the facade of the building. The 19th-century imitation gold leather (paper) wallpaper has been very well preserved. The floor is covered with old parquet.
