About the venue

Landhoeve Poelzicht is located among fruit orchards in the Betuwe in the quiet but very centrally located Kapel Avezaath.

The ceremony setup is already ready for you in the large garden, and our staff will warmly welcome your day guests. After the ceremony, it's time for the cake and, of course, a nice glass of champagne on the terraces around the landhoeve. The modernly furnished rooms and sunny terraces offer plenty of opportunities to take care of your entire day in a relaxed manner. After the delicious dinner prepared by our chef and his brigade, it's time for the party in De Deel, where the DJ or band will keep your guests dancing until the late hours!

Poelzicht is an official wedding location, and you can get married both indoors and outdoors; the entire venue can be reserved exclusively for you as a couple.

Hospitality wordt hier met een hoofdletter geschreven, wat een geweldige dag hebben we gehad. We hebben hier onze ceremonie gehouden, daarna taart aansnijden, een borrel voor extra gasten en als laatste een uitgebreid dinner. We hebben vooraf en op de dag zelf geen zorgen gehad, we hadden alles vooraf goed doorgesproken en iedereen is bereid om net die stap extra te zetten om het bruidspaar een onvergetelijke dag te bezorgen. Niets is Lydia te veel, ze is een topper die ondersteund wordt door een zeer behulpzaam team dat vol aandacht voor hun gasten is. En dan de keuken, in een woord fantastisch! Om het eten te beschrijven schieten woorden tekort; je moet het zelf gaan proberen. Wij zijn erg blij dat we voor Poelzicht hebben gekozen, ze hebben onze verwachtingen ruim overtroffen.

We besloten in 2020 (in coronatijd) om te gaan trouwen. Een verrassingshuwelijk. Aanvankelijk gepland op 16-01-2021, maar vanwege de coronamaatregelen moest dat verzet naar 11-12-21. Wat vanaf het eerste moment wél vaststond was dat ons huwelijk bij Restaurant Poelzicht moest plaatsvinden. De ceremonie deden wij in de naastgelegen Agata Kapel. Aanvankelijk hebben we een offerte opgesteld met de oude eigenaars, want Poelzicht werd in het najaar van 2021 overgenomen. Gelukkig wilde de nieuwe eigenaar Edwin Muns de volledige offerte, onder precies dezelfde voorwaarden overnemen. En we hebben de offerte in overleg zelfs nog mooier gemaakt! Alles kon, niets was te gek! Al hadden we het hele restaurant verbouwd dan waren ze daar nog oké mee. Wij kozen ervoor het hele restaurant af te huren. In het restaurantgedeelte hielden we een uitgebreide brunch (aanvankelijk diner, maar dat kon niet doorgaan). In 'De Deel' ontvangst en receptie. Heerlijke hapjes en drankjes, gezellige ambiance. Externe partijen regelden de styling, taart, bloemen en muziek. Een week voor het huwelijk moest de hele planning nog omgegooid vanwege nieuwe maatregelen, maar dat kon allemaal worden geregeld.
