About the venue
Pavilion De Witte located on the dunes in Scheveningen can rightly be called a unique wedding venue.
History and present
Pavilion De Witte was built in 1826 on the orders of King Willem I. In 1827, he gave this temple-like villa as a birthday gift to his lovely wife Queen Frederica Louise Wilhelmina.
The Pearl of Scheveningen is a special location with a beautiful setting and view over the beach of Scheveningen. It features stylish architecture with royal allure. With your own private terrace and 20 private parking spaces, it’s a great location for the most beautiful day of your life! Pavilion De Witte is also an official wedding venue of the municipality of The Hague.
The Zeezaal, adjacent to the terrace with panoramic views of the sea, is ideally suited for atmospheric wedding ceremonies. On the south side is a Barzaal and on the north side, a Zijzaal of equal size. In this Zijzaal, small groups can dine separately. A special feature of this room is the fireplace that adds extra atmosphere to your dinner in winter. In summer, the spacious terrace of the Pavilion can be used where guests can enjoy a beautiful view over the Scheveningen boulevard and the sunset.
With the Chef and experienced event managers from our catering partners, you will feel like a king and queen!
