A fairytale location: in and around the Jachtslot
Driving down the long driveway, a romantic castle reveals itself, unique in the Netherlands for its colorful and decorative architecture. Jachtslot Mookerheide (1905) is a so-called Jugendstil 'gesammtkunstwerk', where the architecture and interior are inseparably connected, from roof tile to built-in cupboard.
Not only does the Jachtslot itself provide a beautiful setting for your wedding. It is part of Landgoed Mookerheide, which also includes historic greenhouses and gardens. Outside, you walk directly into the nature reserve Mookerheide. In short: one big set for your wedding and wedding photos.
Monumental spaces and a modern surprise
Jachtslot Mookerheide has been a national monument since 2001. We have several monumental indoor spaces, a large private terrace, and two food trucks. Depending on the number of guests, we are happy to advise you on suitable spaces.
For the evening party, we will guide you to another world within the Jachtslot, the Ludenzaal. This side of the building is not monumental and therefore has a more modern look. This hall is equipped with all conveniences, such as the option for a band or DJ, ambient lighting, and a modern bar. The party can begin!
