About the venue
On the border of Limburg and Brabant, surrounded by meadows and forests, lies Holthees. This village, in the watershed of the Maas, houses Hoeve de Knol, an estate that used to serve as accommodation for the horses of the nearby Kasteel Makken.
In the meantime, the old horse farm has been transformed into a small-scale recreation area where freedom and respect for nature are a top priority. Tucked away at a dead-end road, on the edge of the forest, you will find all the space to immerse yourself in the Burgundian lifestyle.
No fixed program, arrangement, or package to choose from.
We will tailor your day, or weekend, together with you. This way, we ensure the most memorable day or weekend of your life.
You rent the entire site from us, allowing you to fully enter a wedding bubble. For Fridays, you have the camping available for overnight stays. For Saturdays and weekends, you also have all accommodations for your guests (and yourselves) to stay overnight.
We have a limited number of days and weekends available for weddings each year. This way, we can always give you our full attention and energy.
From the beginning to the end, during the process leading up to the wedding, but also on the entire wedding day, Céline and Aernout will be there.
This makes it truly personal.

Would you like to get married in 2028? From November 2026, we will accept weddings for 2028. From then on, we will send quotes, offer tours (Monday - Thursday during the day), and place options.
