'De Vlaamsche Spijcker' (est. 1575), 1st prize winner in the category of most popular wedding location in North Brabant, offers you the opportunity to celebrate the most beautiful day of your life in optimal romantic atmospheres. This monumental Flemish barn, located in the tranquil green countryside of the municipality of Dongen, is perfectly suited as a unique wedding location.
Unique? Besides the overall charming appearance through the romantic decor, this is the oldest dated Flemish Spijcker in the Netherlands and Belgium. Your wedding can take place both in 'De Vlaamsche Spijcker' and in the adjacent architecturally designed garden. As more and more couples prefer to marry outdoors, but the weather does not always allow this, you always have an indoor location to fall back on here. Both places, inside and outside, are magical! You can marry indoors by the fireplace or outdoors in the wedding lane, the berceau, or under the plane trees. The garden can also be used for photo sessions. Combining the many intimate spots at our location is possible and incurs no extra costs. The location can be styled entirely to your liking. However, our official wedding venue naturally exudes a refined rural atmosphere.
In addition to the aforementioned features and facilities, we are also known for the knowledge and expertise we apply during all phases in the organization of your wedding. Nowadays, it's no longer just about the venue; it's about the unique experience that is created here and only comes to fruition when all elements are perfectly aligned. 'De Vlaamsche Spijcker' is not a party location but a rustic day venue. Our programs last until a maximum of 9:00 PM. For evening programs, we collaborate with carefully chosen party venues that share a similar atmosphere and are located near 'De Vlaamsche Spijcker'. You will find these locations in our brochure, which can be downloaded from our website. The location of the party venues in relation to the wedding venue is very convenient (+-10 minutes drive).
