Muziekcafé BarBiertje

BarBiertje does not have its own parking lot, but it does have an adjacent public parking lot for about 300 cars. There are also several parking spaces within walking distance in streets and squares.

If you visit BarBiertje by car, we always recommend parking in the "Schoolyard" car park at the town hall. This is a 1-minute walk from our café and offers space for approximately 300 cars. Please note: experience shows that if you follow our address 'Kerkstraat 26' via navigation, you will arrive on the other side of the town hall, which is a one-way road and you will have to drive all the way around. Therefore, do not follow our address within the fortress of Hellevoetsluis, but navigate to the parking lot at the town hall.

The best way to reach BarBiertje is to take a bus that passes the 'Kanaalweg Westzijde' stop in Hellevoetsluis. You then have to walk another 5 minutes.

There are several hotels and holiday parks around BarBiertje. Cape Helius, Boutique Hotel 'De Oude Veste', Cita Romana, and Euro Parcs.

Of course! We definitely recommend having your own caterer. This gives us more space to focus on what we are good at; namely throwing a party! We work closely with a number of good caterers, so if you do not have a caterer, we can assist you in finding a suitable caterer.

BarBiertje has an outdoor terrace where you can party until 1:00 am. However, the municipal rule is that no (loud) music may be played after 11:00 PM. Our own rules apply within BarBiertje. Your party can continue until 3:00 am. We have learned from experience that most parties last until 1:00 am at the latest.

As a music café, we are only open on weekends and - if there is no event or wedding - we plan live music. This means that we have to deal with agendas and bookings with other parties. We therefore like to hear about a wedding well in advance. Something can often be arranged with a band by moving them to another date, but not at the last minute. If you cancel for any other reason, please let us know well in advance so that we still have time to book a replacement event. If you are really late in canceling and we do not have a replacement program, costs may be charged.
