'De Vlaamsche Spijcker' (est. 1575), 1st prize winner in the category of most popular wedding venue in North Brabant, offers you the opportunity to celebrate the most beautiful day of your life in optimal romantic atmospheres. This monumental Vlaamsche barn, located in the peaceful green outskirts of the municipality of Dongen, is perfectly suited as a unique wedding venue.

Unique? Besides the overall charming appearance through the romantic décor, this is the oldest dated Vlaamsche Spijcker in the Netherlands and Belgium. Your wedding can take place both in 'De Vlaamsche Spijcker' and in the adjacent architecturally designed garden. As more and more couples prefer to marry outdoors, but the weather does not always allow this, you always have an indoor location to fall back on. Both places, inside and outside, are magical! You can get married by the fireplace indoors or outside in the wedding path, the arbour or under the plane trees. The garden can also be used for photo sessions. Combining the many intimate spots at our location is possible and does not incur additional costs. The location can be decorated entirely according to your wishes. However, our official wedding venue naturally exudes a refined rural atmosphere. 

In addition to the mentioned features and facilities, we are also known for the knowledge and expertise we apply during all phases of organizing your wedding. Nowadays, it is no longer just about the location; it is about the unique experience that is created here and only comes to fruition when all elements are perfectly coordinated. Realizing this unique experience requires passion and professionalism. With us, you can prepare for the big day in a relaxed manner and enjoy all the moments leading up to it. Good vibes only!

'De Vlaamsche Spijcker' is not a party venue but a rustic day venue. Our programs last until 9:00 PM at the latest. For evening programs, we work with carefully selected party venues that have a similar atmosphere to, and are in the vicinity of, 'De Vlaamsche Spijcker'. You can find these locations in our brochure, which can be downloaded from our website. The location of the party venues in relation to the wedding venue is very convenient (+-10 minutes drive).

De perfecte trouwlocatie voor een knusse, landelijke, bijzondere bruiloft.

Als je bij iemand terecht kunt voor een goed verzorgde bruiloft en een perfecte gastvrijheid, dan is het wel bij Kirsten van de Vlaamse Spijcker. Een ontzettend harde werker met een grote passie voor hetgeen dat ze doet en ontzettend veel ervaring en kennis van de trouwlocatie. De locatie zelf is veelzijdig met prachtige mogelijkheden voor binnen en buiten. Wij raden aan de locatie vooraf te bezichtigen.

De bruiloft die als thuis voelde.

Kirsten heeft ons erg warm ontvangen. Ze had interesse in ons als mensen en wij waren niet een nummertje. We voelden ons begrepen en er werd met ons meegedacht. Ze heeft ons enorm gesteund en aan de hand meegenomen in de voorbereidingen. De locatie was echt prachtig, precies zoals we wilden. We krijgen nog steeds van mensen te horen hoe mooi en warm ze de locatie vonden. En het eten werd zeker van genoten.

Onvergetelijk!!

Wij hadden een topdag. Kirsten en haar team hadden oog voor alle gasten (met name de kleinkinderen). We werden compleet ontzorgd, wat de beleving nóg intenser maakte! Alle afspraken zoals van tevoren gemaakt zijn nagekomen. Het is een onvergetelijke dag geworden!

Geweldige mensen, locatie en ervaring!

Vanaf het aanvragen tot aan na de grote dag een geweldig avontuur. De klik die er vanaf het begin was tot aan het verzorgen van alle kleine details zorgde voor een onvergetelijke dag. De deskundige kijk van het personeel, het meedenken en het soepele contact. Op de dag zelf zorgen ze zeker dat je als bruidspaar gewoon kan genieten. Zeker te weten een aanrader. Zeker als je gaat voor simpel maar romantisch en puur.
