'De Vlaamsche Spijcker' (since 1575), 1st prize winner in the category of most popular wedding venue in North Brabant, offers you the opportunity to celebrate the most beautiful day of your life in optimal romantic settings. This monumental Flemish barn, located in the tranquil green countryside of the municipality of Dongen, is perfectly suited as a unique wedding venue.
Unique? Besides the overall charming appearance through the romantic décor, this is the oldest dated Flemish Spijcker in the Netherlands and Belgium. Your wedding can take place both in 'De Vlaamsche Spijcker' and in the adjacent architecturally designed garden. Since more and more couples prefer to marry outdoors, but the weather doesn’t always allow for this, you always have an indoor location to fall back on. Both places, inside and outside, are magical! You can get married by the fireplace indoors or outside in the wedding alley, the berceau, or under the plane trees. The garden can also be used for photo sessions. Combining the many intimate spots at our location is possible and incurs no extra costs. The venue can be decorated entirely according to your wishes. However, our official wedding venue naturally exudes a refined rural atmosphere.
In addition to the mentioned features and facilities, we are also known for the knowledge and expertise we apply during all phases of organizing your wedding. 'De Vlaamsche Spijcker' is not a party venue but a rustic daytime venue. Our programs last until a maximum of 21:00 in the evening. For evening programs, we collaborate with carefully selected party venues that have a similar atmosphere to, and are located near, 'De Vlaamsche Spijcker'. You can find these locations in our brochure, which is available for download on our website. The location of the party venues in relation to the wedding venue is very convenient (+-10 minutes drive).

Op 6 juni j.l. zijn wij getrouwd bij de Vlaamsche Spijcker. Wat een mooie, sfeervolle locatie, zowel de prachtige tuin als de schuur. Wij waren direct verkocht. Het contact met Kirsten is vanaf het eerste moment heel fijn geweest; snel, duidelijk, persoonlijk. Op de dag zelf was alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd, de sfeer heel relaxt. Precies zoals wij het voor ogen hadden. Een absolute aanrader!
Afgelopen vrijdag getrouwd bij de Vlaamsche Spijcker en wat een magische dag was dit. De locatie is prachtig met alle groene doorkijkjes. Het contact met Kirsten in het voorgesprek ging al erg soepel en op de dag zelf had zij ook een mega fijn team bij zich. Ontzettend lieve meiden. Het was een bloedhete dag, maar er werd super goed voor ons gezorgd. Mega dankbaar!
Vanaf de eerste bezichtiging en kennismaking met Kirsten voelde het al goed. Prachtige locatie, zowel binnen als buiten, en de hele dag tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Aanrader voor diegenen die de hele dag onbezorgd willen genieten!
Wij zijn ontzettend blij dat we onze grote dag hebben gevierd bij de Vlaamsche Spijcker. De locatie is prachtig en alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Van begin tot eind zijn wij enorm tevreden over het contact met Kirsten. De meetings vooraf waren informatief en erg gezellig. Kirsten gaf tussendoor altijd snel antwoord op vragen en dacht super fijn met ons mee. Wij zouden ieder bruidspaar deze ervaring gunnen!
