'De Vlaamsche Spijcker' (established 1575), first prize winner in the category of most popular wedding venue in North Brabant, offers you the chance to celebrate the most beautiful day of your life in optimal romantic atmospheres. This monumental Flemish barn, located in the tranquil green countryside of the municipality of Dongen, is perfectly suited as a unique wedding location.
Unique? In addition to the overall charming appearance through the romantic décor, this is the oldest dated Flemish Spijcker in the Netherlands and Belgium. Your wedding can take place both in 'De Vlaamsche Spijcker' and in the adjacent architecturally designed garden. Since more and more couples prefer to get married outdoors, but the weather does not always allow this, you will always have an indoor location to fall back on. Both places, inside and outside, are magical! You can get married by the fireplace indoors or outside in the wedding path, the berceau, or under the plane trees. The garden can also be used for photo sessions. Combining the many intimate spots at our location is possible and does not incur extra costs. The venue can be decorated entirely according to your wishes. However, our official wedding location naturally exudes a refined rural atmosphere.
Besides the mentioned features and facilities, we are also known for the knowledge and expertise we apply during all phases of organizing your wedding. 'De Vlaamsche Spijcker' is not a party venue but a rustic daytime location. Our programs last until a maximum of 21:00 in the evening. For evening programs, we collaborate with carefully selected party venues that have a similar atmosphere to, and are located near, 'De Vlaamsche Spijcker'. You will find these locations in our brochure, which can be downloaded from our website. The location of the party venues in relation to the wedding venue is very convenient (+-10 minutes drive).
