The venues at The Machinist can be booked from 09:00 to 01:00 from Monday to Friday. On weekends, the venues can be booked from 12.00 am.

How are the cancellation conditions arranged?

If a reservation that includes room hire is cancelled in writing by the guest after it has been confirmed, the guest owes De Machinist a fee based on time to the start of the event based on time remaining until the start of the event. a. In case of cancellation more than 1 month before the date of the event, the guest is not obliged to pay any to pay any compensation to De Machinist. b. In case of cancellation more than 14 days before the date on which the event takes place, the guest is bound to pay De Machinist to pay a compensation of 50% of the reservation value. c. In case of cancellation less than 14 days before the date on which the event takes place, the guest is bound to pay De Machinist to pay a compensation of 100% of the reservation value.

De Machinist has been located in the old Machinist School since March 2010. The old canteen of the former Machinist School, now known as the Sociëteit hall, is a beautiful setting to say your vows.

Wij zijn vrijdag 23-03-2018 getrouwd en hebben gefeest in de oer-Rotterdamse locatie De Machinist. De ceremonie in De Sociëteit, een prachtige, chique zaal met klassieke allure. Daarna heerlijk gedineerd in de informele Parkhaven-zaal, een keuzemenu waarvan wij en de gasten hebben genoten. De afsluitende borrel in het gezellige restaurant. Zeer vriendelijk, attent en behulpzaam personeel dat steeds aandacht en zorg had voor ons allen. En dat alles voor een zeer schappelijke prijs. In alle opzichten dus een heerlijke, onvergetelijke dag en een 100% aanrader!"

De locatie is mooi en sfeervol van zichzelf, daar hoef je niks meer aan te doen. Het personeel is erg aardig. We hebben hier gedineerd en het feest gehouden, alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd en geregeld! Een goede locatie waar je op een relaxte manier dingen kan regelen, en als je niet van getut en veel geregel houdt, zit je hier goed!"
