Welcome to De Kastanjehof, an idyllic location in the green heart of Lage Vuursche, surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. With our atmospheric terrace, enchanting inner garden, and a restaurant with surprising dishes, we offer the ideal setting for your wedding day. 

At De Kastanjehof, we have numerous possibilities for both indoor and outdoor activities. Whether it’s a reception, a dinner, or a party until the early hours – anything is possible. Our team is ready to personally guide you, both in the lead-up to the wedding and on the day itself, so you can enjoy each other and your guests without worries.

After your special day, you can relax in our suite, and your guests can also stay comfortably in one of the 14 rooms of our boutique hotel. For a multi-day wedding, you don’t need to travel abroad – everything you need is right here with us!

Sample Day Description 

• Arrival and reception: Your special day begins on our green terrace, where we welcome the guests with a glass of bubbles and a delicious snack.
• Ceremony: after the reception, the group moves to the romantic garden, where you will wholeheartedly say your vows. The garden provides a private and intimate setting for the ceremony. If the weather does not cooperate, the ceremony can always be moved to our conservatory, which offers direct access to the garden.
• Drinks: after the ceremony, it’s time to toast to love! This can be on our terrace, in the inner garden, in the restaurant, or in one of our halls, entirely tailored to your wishes. If desired, you can also cut the cake prepared by our own pastry chef.
• Dinner: for dinner, the group moves to a table set with linen in the garden or in our atmospheric restaurant. The menu is completely custom-made with our chef, who uses seasonal ingredients for a unique culinary experience. In addition to delicious dishes, we offer a wide range of special wines.
• Party: after dinner, it’s time to party! Everything is arranged down to the last detail, so you can enjoy without worries.
• Overnight stay: after an unforgettable evening, you will head to the luxury suite. Our boutique hotel has 14 rooms, each with its own style and atmosphere. In these rooms, everyone can unwind. Experience and enjoy!
• Breakfast: In the morning, you can chat and reminisce about your beautiful day during our extensive and fresh breakfast.
