What are the parking options at or nearby the venue?

Yes, you can use the free parking lot at De Barones. The parking lot is located on the estate. It is not necessary to reserve in advance. In addition, we have two charging points for an electric car.

What is the accessibility by car?

The Barones is easily accessible from the A28, 10 minutes from Zwolle.

Is the venue accessible by public transportation?

De Barones can be reached by public transport. From the station in Dalfsen, a local bus (Synthus bus line 591) drives to Hotel and Restaurant De Barones on weekdays and Saturdays. The stop "Gerner Es" is located at the end of the driveway (+/- 2 minutes walk).

Is it possible to bring our own caterer?

At our meeting location we also offer catering. It is possible to have lunch or dinner at De Barones. We are happy to discuss your wishes and make you a suitable offer.

Until what time can a party last?

At De Barones you can enjoy your party, celebration or reception until midnight. Inside it is allowed to play music until midnight. Outside this is allowed until 11:00 PM. To play music outside until midnight we can apply for a permit. This application is free of charge.

How are the cancellation conditions arranged?

The Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (UVH) apply to all agreements entered into by us. The UVH are binding for everyone who uses our services.

Getting married, partying, and staying overnight at one location
Estate Gerner, which houses the former manor of De Barones, is located in the middle of the wooded and natural Vechtdal. Our wedding venue is just a fifteen-minute drive from Zwolle. The manor has a beautiful, spacious garden where the ceremony can take place on a nice day, or exchange vows in our atmospheric Gasterij. After the ceremony, cut the wedding cake under our cozy stretch tent and enjoy – together with your guests – this festive day with a snack and a drink. Dine in the evening in our atmospheric Gasterij or enjoy a fully catered dinner in our garden. End the day with a dazzling party. After your wedding, stay overnight with your guests at Hotel De Barones and enjoy a lavish breakfast together the next day. And all at one location!
