This castle in Borgloon, in the heart of Belgian Haspengouw, combines ceremony, dinner, celebration, and overnight stay on one estate.

A setting that suits you

The salons, courtyard, gardens, and terraces offer options for an intimate celebration or a larger gathering. The courtyard accommodates up to 500 guests. For the Great Lawn of 5,000 m², we use guideline numbers of 1,500 guests for a standing reception, 1,000 for a ceremony, and 750 for a dinner, depending on the setup and required facilities. Choose an indoor or outdoor ceremony and let the aperitif smoothly transition into dinner. For an outdoor program, we will make prior arrangements regarding the weather and possible alternatives, taking into account your number of guests and the available spaces.

Together at the table, then to the dance floor

From the first bites to an elaborate dinner: our team will help create a culinary experience that suits your wishes and guests. Le Grand Salon de Looz provides the backdrop for the evening celebration, with a DJ booth, professional lighting system, and a lit dance floor. Additional audiovisual technology and technical support for the ceremony, speeches, or live entertainment are available upon request. We will agree on the possibilities and costs in advance based on your program. The room accommodates up to 180 guests in gala setup or 300 standing. The final layout will be adjusted to your dinner, entertainment, and space for dancing.

Make it a wedding weekend

With 46 rooms and suites on the estate, you, family, and friends can stay overnight. This way, the gathering doesn’t end with the last song, and there is time for a shared breakfast or brunch the next morning upon request. Are extra rooms desired? Sister castle Château de La Motte is three kilometers away and has an additional 17 rooms, available upon request.

All attention for the people around you

From the first plans, we help you coordinate spaces, timing, meals, and overnight stays. We are happy to advise on DJs and other suppliers who know the location. The historic facades, the water, and the gardens also provide you with various spots for special photos without leaving the estate.

An initial idea of the budget

As a first guideline, we estimate €1,000 for a ceremony, €1,250 for a reception, and €3,000 for a dinner for 50 guests. For a party with 100 guests, the price indication is €5,000. The final price depends on your program, choice of space, and wishes. In the personal quote, we outline what catering, drinks, technology, and other components are included.
