How wonderful that our wedding venue is a potential candidate for one of the most beautiful/unforgettable days of your lives.
The Brielse Boer is a location with a rich history. For generations, the Rodenburg family has farmed and run a business from the Ondernemingspolder, located in Zwartewaal. Besides arable farming, there has always been another branch of activity on the estate. This is how the Brielse Boer came into being. In the years 2021-2022, the monumental farm shed was transformed into a meeting and event venue. We have preserved the authentic atmosphere while equipping the building with modern comforts. Huge concrete-look walls, wooden beams, and charming windows alternate with trendy hanging plants, black siding, and all the comforts of today.
Since May 2023, we have been an official wedding venue of the municipality of Voorne aan Zee. Celebrate your entire wedding day at the Brielse Boer so you don't have to rush to be on time at the next place. This way, you can fully enjoy your day!
The decor? You get to decide completely! Because this makes it truly your unique venue that meets all your wishes and fits your style.
We have our own furniture, which we think fits beautifully in the venue. Comfortable seating with a slightly robust look.
But if another style is more your preference, we are happy to help you with that and have many contacts and examples to shape your dream venue together.
We also like to tailor the catering to your wishes. Reception with a treat, toasting with cocktails, shared dining, a BBQ or maybe a food truck, with the wedding cake for dessert? It's all possible.
We work together with a fixed caterer. This way, we ensure quality and service are present. Since we work tailor-made, we have the flexibility to cater to your specific needs for feeding the inner person.
On this special day, you and your guests will receive exclusive service. The venue and the team are entirely at your disposal, as we always host one group of guests at a time.
The Brielse Boer officially consists of one space, but the thoughtful layout of this venue actually brings only opportunities, and the venue is naturally divided. Since the restroom and an office are placed in the middle of the shed, many cozy corners and options arise to make optimal use of the space in various ways.
Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony can be held in the largest part we call ‘the Tas’ (read in the description of the indoor spaces where this name comes from). With the beautiful wooden beams and concrete-look walls, not much is needed to style this area. You can hold a ceremony here for twenty to as many as one hundred and ten guests seated in theater arrangement. If you want to make your ceremony even grander, there are definitely possibilities for that too.
With movable furniture, we can make this space as cozy as we want.
Toast
After the wedding ceremony, it's time for the Cake & Toast. Depending on the season you are getting married and your further wishes, this first toast moment as an official couple takes place on the terrace, ‘the Koestal’ or ‘the Dorschvloer’. All guests enjoy a bite and a drink while you receive congratulations for your fresh marriage.
Dinner
The wedding dinner is one to never forget. The Brielse Boer works with a caterer. Together with them, you will create the dinner that meets all your wishes. Truly everything is possible due to the enormous diversity in how the shed can be used. Do you want a beautiful long table in ‘the Koestal’? Or prefer round dining tables in ‘the Dorschvloer’ or in the wide part of ‘the Inrij’? Prefer a more informal setting with a walking dinner? No problem! In the lovely summer months, a small food truck festival on the terrace with cozy shade sails is also possible!
Party Evening
After the wedding dinner, it's time for a party evening. Will you choose a relaxed evening on the terrace with fire pits and lights, or will you go for a lively party in the shed with your own band or DJ? The catering can also be supplemented with special elements for the party evening, creating countless possibilities for an unforgettable night.
Photoshoot
For beautiful wedding photos, you don’t have to leave the farm. Both inside and outside, there are various unique spots to capture your unforgettable day. For example, take pictures with the vintage tractor from 1959 or have your photo taken outside in front of one of the characteristic walls of the monumental shed. If your photographer wants to shoot with a drone, that is also possible.

If you become completely enthusiastic after receiving our initial information, we would love to meet you during a viewing.
In advance, you will receive a questionnaire from us so that we can prepare well for it. We often hear that the questionnaire helps the couple on their journey to marriage.
If all wishes are as clear as possible after the viewing, we will get to work for you to prepare a quote.
Price Indication
The price indication as displayed here on Top Trouwlocaties is based on the celebration of a wedding from start to finish at the Brielse Boer. During the day, there are up to 50 guests present until the dinner, and another 50 guests will join in the evening. In the evening, there will then be 100 guests.
Ceremony, cake & toast (reception), dinner, and party, everything takes place at our venue.
The indication includes: use of the venue, use of sound technology for the ceremony, ceremony styling, and catering throughout the entire day.
Since we work according to your wishes, many things can be customized.
Of course, it is also possible to only hold the ceremony with us. Or to marry elsewhere and then come to us to celebrate.
The costs for this will differ from the average indicated prices.
