How wonderful that our wedding venue is a potential candidate for one of the most beautiful/unforgettable days of your lives.

The Brielse Boer is a location with a rich history. For generations, the Rodenburg family has farmed and operated from the Ondernemingspolder, located in Zwartewaal. Besides arable farming, there has always been another branch of business on the property. This is how the Brielse Boer came into being. Between 2021 and 2022, the monumental farm barn was transformed into a gathering and event location. We have retained the authentic atmosphere and equipped the building with modern conveniences. Huge concrete-look walls, wooden beams, and atmospheric windows alternate with trendy hanging plants, black lap siding, and all the comforts of today.

Since May 2023, we have been an official wedding location of the municipality of Voorne aan Zee. Celebrate your entire wedding day at the Brielse Boer so you don't have to rush to get to the next place on time. This way, you can fully enjoy your day!

The decor? You decide completely! This way, it truly becomes your unique location that meets all your wishes and matches your style. 
We have our own furniture, which we think fits beautifully in the location. Comfortable seating with a slightly robust look. 
But if another style is your preference, we are happy to help and have many contacts and examples to shape your dream location together. 

We also gladly tailor the catering to your wishes. A reception with a treat, toasting with cocktails, shared dining, a BBQ, or maybe a food truck, the wedding cake as dessert? It’s all possible. 
For this, we work with a fixed caterer. This ensures quality and service are present. Since we work tailor-made, we have the space to cater to your specific needs for the inner person. 

On this special day, you and your guests will receive exclusive service. The venue and the team are entirely at your disposal, as we always host one group of guests at a time. 

The Brielse Boer officially consists of one space, but the thoughtful layout of this location actually brings only possibilities and naturally divides the space. Since the restroom and an office are placed in the center of the barn, many cozy corners and opportunities arise to make optimal use of the space in various ways. 

Wedding Ceremony

The wedding ceremony can be held in the largest part, which we call 'the Tas' (read in the description of the indoor spaces where this name comes from). With the beautiful wooden beams and concrete-look walls, not much is needed to style this area. You can host a ceremony for twenty to as many as one hundred and ten guests seated in a theater arrangement. If you want to make your ceremony even grander, there are certainly options for that too. 
With movable furniture, we can make this space as cozy as we want.

Toast

After the wedding ceremony, it's time for the Cake & Toast. Depending on the season in which you marry and further wishes, this first toast moment as an official couple takes place on the terrace, 'the Koestal' or 'the Dorschvloer'. All guests enjoy a snack and drink while you receive congratulations for your fresh marriage. 

Dinner

The wedding dinner is one to never forget. The Brielse Boer works with a caterer. Together with them, you create the dinner that meets all your wishes. Truly everything is possible due to the enormous diversity in how the barn can be used. Do you want a beautiful long table in 'the Koestal'? Or round dining tables on 'the Dorschvloer' or in the wider part of 'the Inrij'? Prefer a more informal setting with a walking dinner, no problem! In the lovely summer months, a small food truck festival on the terrace with cozy shade sails is also possible!

Party Evening

After the wedding dinner, it's time for a party evening. Will you choose a relaxed evening on the terrace with fire pits and lights, or go for a bangin' party in the barn with your own band or DJ? Also for the party evening, the catering can be supplemented with special elements, creating countless possibilities for a night to never forget. 

Photoshoot

For beautiful wedding photos, you don’t have to leave the farm. Both indoors and outdoors, there are various unique spots to capture your unforgettable day. Take some snapshots by the vintage tractor from 1959 or have your photos taken outside in front of one of the characteristic walls of the monumental barn. If your photographer wants to shoot with a drone, that is also possible.

If you become really excited after receiving our initial information, we would love to meet you for a viewing. 
In advance, you will receive a questionnaire from us so we can prepare well. We often receive feedback that the questionnaire helps the couple on their journey to marriage. 
If after the viewing all wishes are as clear as possible, we will get to work for you to put together a quote. 

Price Indication

The price indication as shown here on Top Wedding Locations is based on the celebration of a wedding from start to finish at the Brielse Boer. During the day, there are 50 guests present until dinner, and in the evening, another 50 guests join. In the evening, there will be 100 guests. 
Ceremony, cake & toast (reception), dinner, and party, everything takes place at our location. 
For each component, we have calculated the average price per guest based on the above composition. 

Of course, it is also possible to hold just the ceremony with us. Or have the wedding elsewhere and then come to us to celebrate. 
The costs for this will differ from the average indicated prices.
