Estate Mechelen consists of the combination of A gen beuke and the adjacent modern Villa. A gen beuke is a monumental farmhouse over 500 years old that has been fantastically renovated. It is truly a dream location with a beautiful view over the Geuldal. The location is perfectly suited for a weekend wedding and for staying with an intimate group of up to 40 people.

A gen beuke is not a party location (parties can be held at our other location at the Smockelaer in Heijenrath), but it is an official wedding location, and a delightful dinner Shareddining or Luxury BBQ can be arranged by the Team of the Smockelaer, allowing you to enjoy a wonderful wedding weekend with your loved ones.

At the Smockelaer, you can celebrate your wedding party in one of the special party locations in South Limburg. Spend the night in a group villa or group accommodation. The morning starts off well with a fresh breakfast and the best stories about a fantastic day.
