About the space
The Bel-etage on the left consists of the stylish Willemszaal, the unique Anti-chambre, and the impressive Spiegelzaal. When you reserve one of these rooms, you also have access to the other two rooms, as these spaces are interconnected.
Spiegelzaal
This impressive hall has a luxurious appearance. The beautiful baroque interior of this hall is complete with mirrored walls, tapestries, a decorated mantelpiece, and a ceiling featuring gold leaf finishes. This makes the Spiegelzaal extremely suitable for a romantic wedding with a dazzling party.
Anti-Chambre
Between the Spiegelzaal and the Willemszaal is a small hall that connects the two larger halls, namely the Anti-chambre. The walls of this room are covered with rare gold leather and furnished with 17th-century furniture, giving the space a very exclusive look. As a connecting space, this room can be used in many different ways in combination with the Spiegelzaal or the Willemszaal.
Willemszaal
The hall is named after the gilded wooden top piece, featuring the bust of King Stadtholder William III, which stands centrally on the marble mantelpiece. The baroque décor includes ceiling and wall paintings. This hall is often used for wedding ceremonies that take place at Slot Zeist, but also for an elegant dinner or a reception. The hall is located directly at the entrance, making it practically well-combined with the other rooms on the Bel-etage, for example as a reception area.
