Wieringer Chapel, romantic heart of the outdoor museum
The Wieringer Chapel is a romantic wedding location in the middle of the outdoor museum where both civil and church weddings can take place. A red carpet, a beautiful bouquet, and the atmospheric candlelight from the chandeliers create a fairytale atmosphere. 
Prefer a modern setting? The decor can be adjusted upon request.

Coffee House Hoorn for toasts and cake

Along the city canal, you’ll find the authentic bakery shop. In the stylish coffee house behind the shop, with beautiful tiled floors and walls, a small group can toast intimately to the marriage, after which the wedding cake awaits…

Pepper House, for dinner and party night
The indoor museum also includes the historic Pepper House from 1625; the thick walls and ancient beams make this building an extremely atmospheric venue for dinner and parties. It consists of two connected rooms, ideal for a combination of dinner and party night. After dinner, you’re just a few steps away from your party hall!

Amsterdam House, the largest historical location in a modern guise
The Amsterdam House is the largest location in the museum. The modern exterior combines well with the excitingly composed historical elements inside, and the large terrace at the front offers a beautiful view over the outdoor museum. The indoor space is multifunctional, so whether you want a party night with a large group, an extensive barbecue, or a dinner for a hundred guests… this is your perfect location!

Café Hindeloopen, brown café by the water
On the dike in the outdoor museum lies Café Hindeloopen, a typical brown café with a historic atmosphere and a stunning view over the IJsselmeer. The café is particularly suitable for an intimate drink or dinner buffet.
