The Zalmhuis consists of various (private) spaces, alongside the famous Grand Café – as shown in the artist impressions above. The Grand Café is the centerpiece of the location, both in terms of position and style. The interior features a delightful mix of luxurious elements like brass and marble, comfortable sofas and chairs upholstered in soft fabrics in warm colors, and plenty of greenery. The other three halls in the Zalmhuis are each derived from this.
The Rooftop is a more subdued version in terms of color use. With lighter shades and less extravagant fabrics, you can easily dress this space to match the desired atmosphere for an event. This largest room is located on the top floor of the pavilion, with beautiful stained glass ceilings and windows all around offering a fantastic view over the water. The Large Hall is suitable for a reception of up to 300 people, large dinners, but it is also a stunning setting for a wedding celebration.
In the Private Room, the new style is presented more powerfully. With deep, warm colors and an emphasis on materials like brass and marble, this space exudes a luxurious feel. Finally, in the Garden Room, the focus is on the green shades from the color palette to better connect with the adjacent garden. In that beautiful green garden, you can enjoy some outdoor drinks or barbecues. Each other space in the Zalmhuis has its own terrace, overlooking the water.

Meteen na het binnenlopen en de eerste kennismaking met Kiki, de eventmanager van het Zalmhuis hadden wij besloten om daar ons bruiloft te willen vieren. Wij hadden meteen een hele goede klik met Kiki, ze begreep ons en wist precies wat wij nodig hebben. De hele planning verliep perfect en de dag van de bruiloft was van A tot Z helemaal volgens planning verlopen. Het eten was perfect en de sfeer was geweldig.
Wij hebben een prachtige dag gehad 15 juli j.l. in het Zalmhuis. Kiki en haar team hebben overal aan gedacht en adviseerde ons daar waar nodig. De locatie is al zo mooi en de dag werd door de service en het vriendelijke personeel alleen nog maar mooier. De keuze voor de bbq was ook super, omdat iedereen in de mooie tuin genoot van goed eten en lekkere drankjes. Kortom een absolute aanrader!!!
Na ons eerste bezoekje waren we al verliefd op Het Zalmhuis en na onze bruiloft alleen maar meer. We trouwden en feestten in de rooftop (incl dakterras met Rotterdams uitzicht), borrelden buiten en dineerden in de gardenroom. Super vriendelijk personeel en van latere eindtijd tot beamer tot lastminute dieetwensen... over alles werd meegedacht en professioneel geadviseerd. Diner natuurlijk ook heerlijk!
Wij zijn op 8-9-2023 getrouwd in het Zalmhuis. Het was een fantastische dag! Er word in alles met je meegedacht niets is teveel en het personeel is geweldig. Een trouwlocatie met net dat beetje meer. Veel complimenten gehad van onze gasten!
