Welcome to Relais & Châteaux Weeshuis Gouda (WSHS). We have lovingly restored this old orphanage from 1599 to offer you the ultimate WSHS experience.

As the fifth hotel in the Netherlands, we are part of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux hotel collection, which consists of luxurious boutique hotels, resorts, villas and gastronomic restaurants and are distinguished by excellent quality and excellent service.

A boutique hotel with 25 unique rooms, a casual fine dining restaurant, the most romantic chapel in the Netherlands, the Jerusalem Chapel, a Grand Ballroom where weddings are solemnized, but where we also provide stylish receptions, full-length dinners and festive drinks. Boutique Hotel WSHS stands for quality, charm and luxury.

As Chef, Remco Kuipers is responsible for, among other things, the kitchen of restaurant LIZZ. His years of experience in very refined, diverse cuisines, where he also achieved a Michelin star (in April 2023), will ensure that the dinners in our packages will be very refined and of a high culinary level.
