Looking for a romantic location for your wedding day? Welcome to the Orangerie of Estate Sandenburg! Estate Sandenburg is an ancient family estate, tucked away in nature just outside Utrecht.
The Orangerie
The Orangerie is a bright space seven meters high, with seven large doors opening to the terrace and garden. When the weather is nice, we open the garden doors, and you can hear a chorus of birds in the background. You might even get a visit from the peacocks or guinea fowl that roam freely in the garden! The Orangerie has a lovely sunny terrace, which is covered in summer with a sand-colored stretch tent on wooden poles. In the Orangerie of Estate Sandenburg, you truly feel like you are outside.
Catering
Our caterer provides a delicious culinary experience for your big day. A festive BBQ, a walking dinner, or an elegant seated dinner; you can choose from a wide range of options. Self-catering, or a wedding ceremony without catering, is not possible with us.
Photoshoot
With the high windows and beautiful light, the Orangerie is particularly suitable for bridal photography. You can also take stunning photos outside, in front of the Castle and the Orangerie. So, plan enough time for your photoshoot. Taking bridal photos at Estate Sandenburg is reserved for couples who celebrate their wedding in the Orangerie.
Bridal Room
Do you want to meet each other at the location? Castle Sandenburg has a beautiful spacious bridal room where the bride can get ready. You will see each other for the first time when the doors of the Castle open and the bride appears on the steps. A beautiful moment for a First Look photoshoot!
Party
As the Orangerie is located in a quiet area, a dance party is not possible with us. However, there are several atmospheric party venues nearby where you can celebrate until the early hours. Ask us for our tips and suggestions.

01-06-2024 zijn wij getrouwd bij Oranjerie Sandenburg. Tijdens het plannen van onze bruiloft zijn we super geholpen door Laura (eigenaresse) en op de dag zelf door Kate en de werknemers van Vernooy catering. De ceremonie was prachtig, we hebben heerlijk gegeten en in overleg was er ontzettend veel mogelijk. Wij hebben een prachtige dag gehad en zouden deze locatie zeker aanbevelen!
Wij hebben hier afgelopen september een fantastische bruiloft gehad dankzij de goede hulp van Laura (eigenaresse/contactpersoon). Heel vriendelijke vrouw die overal actief achteraan gaat. Je hebt echt veel aan haar hulp! Zelfs met de steeds veranderende maatregelen omtrent corona, was het geen probleem om elke keer het plan weer aan te passen. De bloemen/aankleding waren geregeld door haar schoonzus Madeleine. Ideaal, want zij kent de locatie en ze bood zelfs aan om een keer mee te gaan naar een Utrechtse bloemenmarkt om ideeën op te doen voor het bruidsboeket. Vriendelijk, betrokken en heel reëel qua prijs.
Personeel van de catering Venrooy was echt geweldig, het eten ook! Ps: wil wel foto?s toevoegen maar dat wil helaas niet lukken. Mocht het op een manier kunnen dan hoor ik het graag.
Wij hebben in september een onvergetelijke dag gehad op deze mooie locatie. Een unieke plek in een groene omgeving. Het is zo fijn schakelen met de Oranjerie. Persoonlijk en het voelt vertrouwd. Alles is bespreekbaar en er wordt graag meegedacht. Ingrediënten voor een perfecte dag dus! Echt een aanrader.
