What are the parking options at or nearby the venue?

There is a private parking lot with 50 parking spaces directly behind Woerden Castle. These places are based on availability for Castle guests only and cannot be reserved. The carpark is equipped with a barrier. Before departure, guests can pick up a free exit ticket at the reception desk. Directly behind this parking lot there's is a parking garage with 80 parking spaces. We are selling tickets for this parking lot. Less than five minutes' walk away, there is parking for 600 cars divided over three parking lots.

What is the accessibility by car?

Woerden Castle is easily accessible by car. A 3-minute drive from the A12, and you can also easily get there from Woerden in Amsterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, Alphen and Brabant. We have 130 parking spaces directly behind the castle. 50 in the parking lot and 80 in the garage, 8 of which with a charging point. There is also a parking garage with 600 spaces within a 5-minute walk.

Is the venue accessible by public transportation?

Woerden Castle is easily accessible by public transport. Woerden train and bus station is only 150 meters away from our location. Every hour there are 15 trains to Utrecht, 's-Hertogenbosch, Leiden, Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam and Schiphol Airport.

Can you spend the night at or near the venue?

In the immediate vicinity of Kasteel Woerden there are two hotels within a three-minute walk. One of the hotels is located in the old weapons arsenal of Woerden, very luxurious and special. The other hotel is a new three star location, functional and fully equipped.

Is it possible to bring our own caterer?

The food that Kasteel Woerden prepares and serves is very well appreciated by its guests. In a traditional way and with as much fresh, local products as a starting point. Many types of dishes and dinner are classic Burgundian, but we also have Asian-oriented dishes in our menu. We are not able to cook kosher so for such special wishes you can bring your own caterer.

At Kasteel Woerden you can party inside the castle until 03:00.

Ons winterhuwelijk in januari 2025 bij Kasteel Woerden was perfect; elke sfeervolle ruimte, het intieme diner in de gewelven, het feest met band, en de persoonlijke, attente service zorgden ervoor dat alles klopte, volledig bij ons paste, warm en levendig voelde, en we zorgeloos konden genieten van een dag die tot in de kleinste details helemaal van ons was.

We hebben een fantastische, goed verzorgde en supergezellige dag gehad

Wij hebben een fantastische dag gehad en kijken hier met heel veel plezier op terug. Het was supergezellig en alles was goed verzorgd, waardoor wij en onze gasten ontzettend hebben genoten. 1 nadeel was wel het brandalarm wat 3 maal is afgegaan, zonder verdere opheldering (althans bij ons)

Ons bruiloft was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Het personeel is duidelijk goed ingericht op dit soort dagen en denkt actief mee. Alles vond plaats op één locatie, wat erg prettig was. De hele dag verliep soepel en gestroomlijnd. Een zeer fijne ervaring.
