Your wedding day at Het Houtse Meer
Imagine this: you arrive together with family and friends at a beautiful place, surrounded by water, greenery, and tranquility. Het Houtse Meer is the location where your dream wedding comes to life. From an intimate ceremony by the water to a cozy reception on our terrace, everything breathes romance and experience.
The day begins with a warm welcome for your guests from our attentive staff, while you spend the last moments together with the people you cherish the most. You can retreat together before the ceremony and 'hide' in our airstream caravan by the water.
The ceremony takes place in the season under the stretch tent on our unique ceremony beach right by the water, where the serene lake forms the backdrop for your vows. Live music on the piano with Frederique or Sem Rozendaal with guitar, or your playlist via the speakers.
After the ceremony, your guests move to the terraces by the water, and you walk through an aisle of guests to the toast moment with a sweet table or wedding cake and the water as a magical decor.
As the sun slowly sets, the group moves to our cozy indoor space for a tasteful dinner, or you can choose an informal BBQ, sitdown BBQ, which fits perfectly with the theme of our location. Perhaps a saxophone by Robin during dinner? We think along with you about every detail: from menu selection and table decoration to personal touches that truly make the day yours.
And then… the evening. The music starts, the lights dim, and you open the dance floor. Until the late hours, there is laughter, dancing, and celebration. Meanwhile, we ensure that everything runs smoothly, so you can be fully in the moment. We also have recommendations for the coolest bands and DJs, photobooths, cocktail bars & snacks.
