How wonderful that our wedding venue is a potential candidate for one of the most beautiful/unforgettable days of your life.

The Brielse Boer is a location with a rich history. For generations, the Rodenburg family has farmed and run a business from the Ondernemingspolder, located in Zwartewaal. In addition to arable farming, there has always been another type of business activity on the premises. This is how the Brielse Boer came into being. In the years 2021-2022, the monumental farm barn was transformed into a meeting and event venue. During this process, we preserved the authentic atmosphere and equipped the building with modern comforts. Enormous concrete-look walls, wooden beams, and atmospheric windows alternate with trendy hanging plants, black cladding, and all the comforts of today.

Since May 2023, we have been an official wedding venue of the municipality of Voorne aan Zee. Celebrate your entire wedding day at the Brielse Boer so you do not have to rush to be on time for the next location. This way, you can fully enjoy your day!

The decor? You decide entirely for yourselves! Because this way, it will truly be your unique location that meets all your wishes and fits your style.
We have our own furniture, which we think fits beautifully into the venue. Comfortable seating with a touch of a robust look.
But if another style is more to your liking, we are happy to assist you and we have many contacts and examples to help shape your dream location together.

We also like to tailor the catering to your wishes. Reception with a treat, toasting with cocktails, shared dining, a BBQ, or maybe a food truck, with the wedding cake as dessert? It’s all possible.
For this, we work with a fixed caterer. This way, we ensure that there is quality and service available. Since we only work custom-made, we have the flexibility to cater to your specific desires for taking care of the inner person.

On this special day, you and your guests will receive exclusive service. The location and the team are entirely at your disposal, as we always host one group of guests at a time.

The Brielse Boer officially consists of one space, but due to the thoughtful layout of this venue, it actually brings only possibilities and the space is naturally divided. Because the sanitary facilities and an office are placed in the middle of the barn, many cozy corners and opportunities arise to make optimal use of the space in various ways.

Wedding Ceremony

The wedding ceremony can take place in the largest area we call ‘de Tas’ (read in the description of the indoor spaces where this name comes from). With the beautiful wooden beams and concrete-look walls, very little is needed to style this area. You can host a ceremony for twenty to as many as one hundred and ten guests seated in a theater setup. If you want to make your ceremony even more grand, there are certainly possibilities for that as well.
With movable furniture, we can make this space as cozy as we want.

Toast

After the wedding ceremony, it’s time for the Cake & Toast. Depending on the season in which you are getting married and other wishes, this first toasting moment as an official couple takes place on the terrace, ‘de Koestal’ or ‘de Dorschvloer’. All guests enjoy a snack and drink while you receive congratulations for your fresh marriage.

Dinner

The wedding dinner is one to never forget. The Brielse Boer works with a caterer. Together with them, you will create the dinner that meets all your wishes. Everything is truly possible due to the enormous diversity in how the barn can be utilized. Do you want a beautiful long table in ‘de Koestal’? Or rather round dining tables on ‘de Dorschvloer’ or in the wide part of ‘de Inrij’? Prefer a more informal setting with a walking dinner? No problem! During the nice summer months, a small food truck festival on the terrace with cozy shade sails is also possible!

Party Evening

After the wedding dinner, it’s time for a party evening. Will you choose a relaxed evening on the terrace with fire pits and lights, or will you go for a lively party in the barn with your own band or DJ? Also, for the party evening, the catering can be enhanced with special elements, creating countless possibilities for an unforgettable evening.

Photoshoot

For beautiful wedding photos, you do not need to leave the farm. Both indoors and outdoors, there are various unique spots to capture your unforgettable day. For example, take pictures by the vintage tractor from 1959 or have your photos taken outside in front of one of the characteristic walls of the monumental barn. If you want to shoot your photographer with a drone, that is also possible.

If you become completely enthusiastic after receiving our initial information, we would love to meet you during a viewing.
In advance, you will receive a questionnaire from us so we can prepare well. We often hear that the questionnaire helps the bridal couple on their journey to the wedding.
If after the viewing all wishes are as clear as possible, we will get to work to put together a quote for you.

Price Indication

The price indication as displayed here on Top Wedding Locations is based on the celebration of a wedding from start to finish at the Brielse Boer. During the day, there are 50 guests present until dinner, and for the evening, another 50 guests will join. In the evening, there will then be 100 guests.
Ceremony, cake & toast (reception), dinner, and party, everything takes place at our location.

The indication includes: use of the location, use of sound technology for the ceremony, ceremony styling, catering throughout the entire day.

Since we work to your wishes, many things can be tailored.

Of course, it is also possible to hold just the ceremony with us. Or to get married elsewhere and then come to us to celebrate.
The costs for this will differ from the average indicated prices.
