About
The hotel is located near the renowned Stadhouderskade, named after Stadtholders Willem II (1626-1650) and Willem III (1650-1702) in 1872. In that year, they celebrated two hundred years since Stadtholder Willem III liberated the Netherlands from the English and the French in 1672. The quay was previously known as the Buitensingel.
The Stadhouderszaal in the Amstel Hotel is an intimate and inviting space, characterized by deep red tones and a beautiful view of the Amstel River. With abundant daylight and high ceilings, it offers a warm ambiance suitable for various events. From meetings and workshops to cocktail receptions, lunches, and dinners. Versatile and charming, the Stadhouderskade provides a pleasant experience for all occasions.
