Kompaszaal, an iconic official wedding venue where your wishes and our willingness to fulfill them are central. Our Art Deco passenger terminal from the 1950s is the perfect mix of luxury and charming coziness. With 450m2, you have plenty of space to make every part of your program (ceremony, reception, dinner, and party) as small or large as you want. From the terrace, you can enjoy the panoramic view over the IJ. We think along with you about menus, drink selection, music (band or DJ), and all the details that belong to your event, such as flowers, first dance, and ambient lighting, so a full guest experience! We are not just a wedding venue, we are your event manager and we charge nothing extra for that. We work daily with culture, live music, and dance, so the proceeds from your party also support the cultural sector in Amsterdam. We strive for sustainability and coziness that go hand in hand.
