About the space
Ceremony:
The Afmijnlokaal; a historic wedding venue. Celebrate your marriage in the oldest vegetable auction in the world; the BroekerVeiling. The hall from 1912 exudes the atmosphere of the past with its simple wooden benches, but with beautiful elements from the late Art Nouveau. The auction clock from 1903 serves as the stunning backdrop for the ceremony. From the spot of the auctioneer, the civil registrar addresses the couple. The couple arrives on an authentic garden boat. At the BroekerVeiling museum, you literally step into the wedding boat! The Afmijnlokaal is unique in its kind and therefore the most original wedding venue imaginable!
Options:
- After the wedding ceremony, a private boat tour with your guests, enjoying a glass of champagne?
- Reception in the historic lounging halls of the BroekerVeiling museum?
