Castle Island

Crossing the historic bridge and canal, you arrive at Castle Island where, beneath the trees, still lies the ruin of Veldenstein Castle, once owned by Anna van Buren and William of Orange. Imagine... the lanterns gently sway back and forth in the trees, the sun shines, and the birds chirp. The first sounds of a piano are heard followed by a wonderful singer who performs your favourite song, as you meet each other under the apple tree.
