Behind the old gate on Uilenburgerstraat, you enter an oasis of calm and space, a hidden gem in the heart of Amsterdam. On the large, green courtyard stands the Uilenburg Synagogue, built in 1766. Traditionally, the synagogue has been a community center where everyone is welcome, and the building still exudes that atmosphere.

The Uilenburg Synagogue is an official wedding venue of the municipality of Amsterdam and can be exclusively rented. With its various spaces, there are many possibilities for shaping your wedding. We invite you for a non-binding tour to experience the atmosphere of the synagogue and discuss the possibilities and preferences.
