Exclusively bookable in July and August: Summer Weddings is the wedding label of Vuursche Lodge and intentionally works with a short season, which means the schedule fills up quickly. In the midst of the forests of Lage Vuursche, right between Utrecht and Hilversum, lies the location where Summer Weddings brings your festival wedding to life. Not a standard wedding hall with a fixed layout, but a wooded area that we exclusively rent to one couple per day: just you, your guests, and the forest.

Your day starts with the reception on the terrace of the Lodge, followed by a ceremony among the trees, with the forest itself as natural decor. After the vows, glasses are raised during the drinks under the stretch tent Timber, followed by a seated dinner at round tables: fresh, surprising, and top-notch, served in a relaxed festival atmosphere that is just as good as the location itself. As the sun sets, the party moves to Crown or the Pub, where dancing and toasting continues until 1 a.m.

Since the ceremony, dinner, and party can take place both indoors and outdoors, you never have to gamble on the weather — rain or shining sun, the day simply goes on. The location offers space for large groups, with parking for 400 cars right at the door and good accessibility via the highway.

Food plays a leading role: we work with our own food concept that combines the casual vibe of food trucks with the level of a culinary wedding, from the first drink at the ceremony to a late-night snack during the party. We consider allergies and dietary requirements everywhere, so everyone at the table enjoys equally.

Summer Weddings works with a short season: only in July and August is the location exclusively available for weddings. That means summer evenings, light until late, and a team that focuses entirely on your day for those two months, from the first meeting to the last dance, with the same point of contact throughout.
