WEDDING IN WINTER

Bold, cozy, trendy, and romantic... Restaurant Gestrand is all of that and more! The perfect blend for a winter wedding! During the winter, the campground is closed, and Gestrand is exclusively open for you. From the banquet hall, you have a view of the surrounding dunes, where deer and foxes are often spotted.

We light extra candles inside, the fireplace crackles, and outside, we make a fire where your guests can relax with a drink in hand and a blanket around them. A romantic dinner at the long beautifully set tables and a lively evening of celebration. Determine how the most beautiful day of your life looks. It's all possible!

Celebrating your wedding with us is only possible during the winter season from November to March, Monday through Friday. In 2024, it will also be possible on Saturdays starting from November. Contact us to make an appointment.

THE AMBIANCE We light extra candles inside, the fireplace crackles for a warm atmosphere, and outside, we make a fire where your guests can relax with a drink in hand and a blanket around them.

FOOD & DRINK

We serve hot chocolate, toast with mulled wine or champagne, and the regional dishes are adapted to the season. Want to dance with a DJ or a band? That's possible too! How about a post-party by the fire pit after the evening guests have gone home? 🥂

Long tables and hearty regional dishes to share, cozy nooks, and an intimate à la carte setting or perhaps an extensive walking dinner with several small dishes? 🍴 Together with our chef, you can tailor the catering aspect exactly to your liking.

CHILDREN

There are plenty of options for the children at your wedding too. Outside, there's a delightful playground, and beneath the restaurant is a cool children's paradise with a beach vibe. You won't have to worry about them! ✨

The location of Gestrand is fantastic. 🤵🏽 Capture beautiful wedding photos on the beach and in the dunes or around the photogenic, raw building. Make your wedding day and evening unforgettable.

You can park in our own parking lot at the front of the campground. 👰🏻 Thanks to its size, parking with large groups is no problem.
